Curtis Carr is a business leader with over 30 years of experience. He has worked diligently to develop leaders and turnaround businesses with a history of low morale, poor productivity, and descending dividends. In 1995 he established, E.L.E.V.A.T.E., a leadership company that teaches aggressive team building, vision, and the art of being effective. Within 2 years of the company’s inception, he received numerous achievement awards and best of all he was surrounded by enthusiastic, committed, and passionate people. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many people he has worked with. Curtis has shown that extraordinary results can be realized when the latent potential that exists in every human being is put on display.
Leading people out of their comfort zones and awakening their spirit of progression and productivity is an art that he has mastered. In an age when many leaders are either people oriented or bottom line minded, Curtis has shown that one does not have to suffer for the other.
Curtis Carr does not see himself as an employer with power but as a coach who employs with the responsibility to connect and challenge every associate. Our Story
Sharndell and Curtis Carr are both entrepreneurs guided and inspired by their dreams. Dreams not only of success and financial freedom but also of a deep-seated desire to make an enormous impact in this world as a duo. “Two is better than one”, and that axiom is on display when you work with Sharndell and Curtis. Sharndell is the Queen of Processes and Efficiencies, and Curtis is the King of People and Productivity. When you put the two of them together transformation and achievement follows, and it is CONTAGIOUS. The two of them have packaged their talents in a business and that business is called ELEVATE.
What makes ELEVATE unique? I am glad you asked! The company is led by DOERS! There are 3 levels of coaches out there, the degreed, the deputy, and the doer. The DEGREED are the people who usually have advanced degrees and have mentored/consulted people in the past but have never led a team to accomplish what they are teaching others to do. They have read a ton of books and are well versed on high level concepts, such as… accountability, vision, communication, planning, etc. Then, there are your DEPUTIES. They have been an integral part of teams and the team’s success, but they were not the one leading the team. Lastly, you have the DOERS. Ideally, this is who you want because they have led teams to victory and have valuable experiences to share about how they overcame challenges and obstacles. All 3 coaches have tremendous value but just know the pecking order and use your discernment when it comes to following their advice.
